This week, the PGA Tour continues the Florida Swing with a stop at Innisbrook Resort's Copperhead course for the Tampa Bay Championship. Last summer, I traveled around the state for my own version of the Florida Swing, playing 3 out of the 4 courses that will host the tour this month. Copperhead not only provided one of the more challenging rounds of golf, but my encounter with The Snake Pit is one that I won't soon forget. The finishing stretch of holes at Copperhead are regarded as some of the most difficult on tour, and yet somehow I managed to play them in even par.
Give me 10 more rounds on Copperhead, and there's no way I even come close to that again.
