Today's post comes courtesy of New York City and the "Blizzard of 2009." The city was completely shut down thanks to the storm, and we were due to fly out that afternoon. Fearing our flight would be cancelled, I decided to do my part to get the city running again by picking up this shovel I found outside the famed Pierre hotel.
I like to think my efforts helped, because our flight left for home on time...the first and only one bound for Florida that day...
