My guess is these are the best fed iguanas on the planet, because for some reason the first instinct of a tourist when they spot a strange animal is to toss it some food. I really could have used that pack of crackers later...

The Iguanas of St. Thomas - Picture of the Week
Last week in St. Thomas, I plopped down on a park bench overlooking the port while MJ visited the conveniently located jewelry stores nearby. After a while, I suddenly had the strange feeling that I was being watched. Eventually I discovered the source of my discomfort... A group of iguanas were sunbathing on the rocks, drawn there by the flock of passengers coming off the Oasis of the Seas.
My guess is these are the best fed iguanas on the planet, because for some reason the first instinct of a tourist when they spot a strange animal is to toss it some food. I really could have used that pack of crackers later...
